We expect strong performance from everyone. In return, we provide our employees with comprehensive, focused support; for instance, through internal training courses. In this way we assist both our young talents and experienced managers alike. We reward individual efforts in a variety of ways, such as through a better reconciliation of work and family life. In our role as an employer, we actively take steps to achieve a healthy work-life balance for our employees. This is reflected in our family-conscious corporate culture. In addition, we offer our workers a comprehensive, holistic support system: the LIFE health promotion program. This serves to maintain and enhance the health, productivity and motivation of our staff.

Further Training and Development
We adopt a sustained and systematic approach to furthering the personal and professional development of our employees.
We develop and implement personal development plans based on an employee's annual performance review. STEAG's internal Continuing Professional Development Portal is just one of the tools available here.
There are a wide variety of in-house presentations and seminars on offer, covering a diverse array of specialist fields. Our employees can take advantage of these to broaden their skill set. They acquire new technical knowledge, and it can help them develop as a person too.
In addition to the wide range of training programs available, STEAG offers employees the opportunity to actively educate themselves on their own initiative using the "FutureZone" e-learning platform.
Private und berufliche Interessen vereinbaren
Flexible, employee-specific working time models and a variety of supporting measures help ensure that private and business interests can be reconciled satisfactorily. Management staff, direct superiors and local works councils have a special responsibility in this regard. They have the task of developing measures to reconcile work and family life in practice. STEAG prides itself on its healthy work-life balance and family-conscious management practices.
The measures we have introduced to support our employees include:
- Job sharing models
- Home office
- Part-time work
- Extensive help for employed parents with children to care for – e.g., with the search for a kindergarten place
- Advice on topics such as patient care or nursing family members
