    Distributed generating facilities are becoming more and more important as the energy transition progresses, as they increase efficiency and conserve resources. Our customers benefit from our many years of experience in the design, construction and operation of such plants.

    In distributed generation, energy (electricity, heat or refrigeration) is produced and made available close to the consumer by small power plants. Distributed facilities for combined heat and power generation are among the core competencies of STEAG.

    Our subsidiary STEAG New Energies is specialized in the planning and construction of power generation and distribution systems and of instrumentation and control systems, the financing and operation of the plants, and the supply of and billing for usable energy such as heat, refrigeration and electricity.

    Various contracting models facilitate individual solutions for industrial enterprises, housing associations, municipal utilities and local authorities.
