Krantz is truly a traditional company! It was founded in 1882 by the name-giving engineer Hermann Krantz and has been part of the STEAG Group since the beginning of 2018.
Our experts at Krantz develop, design, manufacture and market airflow, heating and cooling systems for ceiling and facade installations as well as cleanroom systems. The STEAG Group’s Aachen subsidiary also produces filter and damper systems and is an expert in the field of air treatment. For decades now, Krantz has been equipping high-security laboratories with filter technology and airflow systems. Customers of the company include the Robert Koch Institute, the Friedrich Löffler Institute for Animal Health and the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine, as well as the University of Marburg. Krantz products enjoy an excellent reputation and are used in both public-sector and commercial buildings. And that's what makes us stand out, in the truest sense of the word: In October 2020, an air treatment system with energy recovery developed by Krantz and installed at a medium-sized automotive supplier was awarded the title “Project of the Month” by the EnergieAgentur.NRW.
In the in-house Research & Development Center, engineers perform target-oriented research and development work in a modern testing laboratory hall having a floor area of 1 000 m². Customized ventilation components are produced at the company's own manufacturing facilities in Aachen and Mallersdorf (Bavaria).
